Welcome to First Steps Preschool!
First Steps Preschool is a licensed Christian preschool that was established in 1980 as First Baptist Preschool. First Steps is a ministry of Redeemer Fellowship. All of our teachers teach a comprehensive curriculum, in an environment that encourages exploration and interactive learning. Our curriculum addresses the skills that are needed for Kindergarten, and the Illinois State Standards.
The staff at First Steps Preschool look forward to working with you to create a fun and nurturing atmosphere in which your child can best experience the wonders their early childhood years. Taking the time to find the right preschool is the first step in a fun and rewarding journey.
We love to have families involved and have many family activities. We build scarecrows for the St. Charles Scarecrow Fest, have a Parent Night, a Holiday Craft Fair, a Cookie Exchange, a Christmas Sing and a birthday party for Jesus. We have some fun winter activities and wind up the school year with a Preschool Family Picnic.
We have yearly visits from the St. Charles Firemen and other people in the community (policeman, dentist, veterinarian). We collect books, hats and mittens and donate them at Christmas. Please call for an individual tour of our facilities.
